Four months of single-track service on the Delhi Metro Yellow Line due to the expansion of the Magenta Line

In order to complete Phase-IV construction on the Magenta Line expansion, trains between the Delhi Metro’s Samaypur Badli and Jahangir Puri stations on the Yellow Line will operate on a single line for four months, authorities said on Thursday.

They added that the services would continue to be impacted from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Samaypur Badli in Delhi and Millennium City Centre Gurugram in Haryana are connected by the Yellow Line.

“With effect from Thursday (18.4.2024) for a period of four months for execution of Phase-IV work of the Magenta Line extension, train movement between Samaypur Badli and Jahangir Puri on the Yellow Line shall be done via single line from 10 pm till end of revenue services and from start of revenue services till 7 am,” the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) stated in a post on X.
