If there was no unemployment, young people wouldn’t use their phones for 12 hours: Gandhi Rahul

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, said on Saturday that if there was no unemployment in the nation, young people would not be glued to their phones for twelve hours every day. Speaking at a meeting at Sambhal as part of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said this.

Following stops in Moradabad and Amroha, the Congress and Samajwadi Party officials welcomed Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Sambhal as part of the Congress leader’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

“How many hours do you use your mobile?” Rahul Gandhi questioned a guy when he was speaking at the Chandausi crossroads. In response, he said, “Twelve hours.”

Rahul Gandhi said, “You use your mobile phone for 12 hours because there is no employment in India.” Did you know that the sons of wealthy guys calculate money around the clock instead of watching Reels?”

The Congress leader said, “If you get employed, you will work for twelve hours and watch Reels for thirty minutes.”

Rahul Gandhi, who has often said during the yatra that members of the SC/ST, Dalit, and lower castes do not occupy important posts, intensified his criticism of their underrepresentation.

“If we remove the list of employees from any company, we also remove the list of owners,” he said. There won’t be a single Dalit owner from the lower class. Remove the list of those who own media companies, exclusive educational institutions, or high court judges. The same three to four percent of individuals from higher castes continue to hold these jobs.”

Additionally, Rahul Gandhi said that efforts are being made to eradicate small farmers and dealers.

“You are being decimated and starving to death. Exam papers are leaked because these individuals oppose giving India’s young jobs. They are unable to provide them work,” the Congressman said.

The 4,000-kilometer Bharat Jodo Yatra, which Gandhi led from Kanyakumari to Kashmir last year, was motivated, he said, by the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which were inciting enmity throughout the nation.

The Congress leader cornered the reporters, saying, “The media never shows our opinions when we offer them. The media will not report on issues like inflation, unemployment, or the hard labor of employees.”

Rahul Gandhi said, “My work is to fight and eradicate hatred from the country.” He also remarked, “A shop of love has to open in the market of hatred.”

The Uttar Pradesh BJP administration has come under fire from Congress politician Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who claims that houses belonging to “innocent people” being demolished by bulldozers while the “guilty” get away with it.

The yatra, which had stopped for two days in Uttar Pradesh for the last part of the march, began its trip from Moradabad with Priyanka Gandhi joining it.

According to the Congress, she would travel with her brother throughout the yatra, which will end on Sunday in Fatehpur Sikri after passing via Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, and Agra.

Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, is scheduled to go on the yatra in Agra on Sunday. This comes after the parties agreed to share seats in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections.

Priyanka Gandhi was supposed to join the yatra when it reached Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, but she was forced to miss it due to illness and subsequent hospitalization.

Speaking to the Moradabad audience, she said, “We have a strategy in the manifesto on how to halt recurring question paper leaks when I got here in 2022. It was a work calendar with the date of the test and the appointment written on it. We also discussed forming a committee to look at all of the injustices that had occurred.”

The country’s unemployment and inflation rates are growing, according to the general secretary of Congress.

“Yesterday, farmers staged protests. Today, farmers are demonstrating as well, but the government is not paying attention. In Uttar Pradesh, those who abused women, buried farmers under jeeps, and leaked exam papers were not met by bulldozers running over their houses. The houses of the innocent are the only places where this administration moves the bulldozer, not the guilty “claimed the speaker.

She noted that the word “nyay (justice)” was added to the name of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra since the nation’s farmers, women, and children are the targets of injustice.

She went on to say “until you bring about a change, your circumstances will not change” .

In the meanwhile, ST Hasan, the Moradabad MP for the Samajwadi Party, took part in the yatra.

He said, “The nation is now experiencing a dreadful circumstance. There has never before been a danger this serious to community cohesion. All Indians now want the continuation of the Ganga-Jamuni tradition and our affection.”

On Sunday, the yatra will reach Rajasthan and come to an end at Dholpur.

In order to accommodate Rahul Gandhi’s long-standing promise to give two lectures on February 27 and 28 at his alma mater, Cambridge University in the UK, the Congress has announced that the yatra would take a break from February 26 to March 1.

It has been reported that he would also be attending meetings in New Delhi during this time.

On March 2, the yatra will continue from Dholpur. After then, it will spread across the districts of Madhya Pradesh, including Morena, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Shajapur, and Ujjain.

Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to offer prayers at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on March 5. During his Bharat Jodo Yatra, he had prayed at the shrine on November 29, 2022.
