In his greeting for International Yoga Day, Amit Shah notes that yoga is an essential gift from India to the world

On the occasion of International Yoga Day on Wednesday, Union Minister Amit Shah welcomed everyone and said that yoga is a priceless gift from India to the globe. Yoga was also cited by him as a way to focus the body, mind, and spirit, and he said that it is good for the body and the mind to do yoga.


“Happy ‘International Yoga Day’ to all of you. Yoga is a way to focus the body, mind, and spirit, which not only strengthens the body but also the brain, according to a Hindi tweet from Amit Shah. Shah said that because to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, yoga has spread around the globe and become a way of life for many.

The globe observes International Yoga Day on June 21 every year. It acts as a platform to promote yoga’s comprehensive approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being and to spread knowledge of the many advantages of the practise.

Prime Minister Modi first mentioned International Yoga Day in his 2014 speech to the UN General Assembly.

Due to its capacity to improve flexibility, strength, balance, and general fitness, yoga has since seen tremendous growth in popularity on a global scale.

Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, or yoga for the benefit of everyone in the form of “One World-One Family,” is this year’s theme for Yoga Day.It highlights the uplifting and inclusive nature of the yoga philosophy.
