In Jharkhand, a car falls over a bridge, killing five family members

On Tuesday morning, a family of five was slain in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district after their automobile went over a bridge.

According to Deoghar Superintendent of Police Ajit Peter Dungdung, the disaster happened when their car plunged from the bridge and into the Siktia barrage.

Five family members were murdered after their SUV slid over the bridge and into the barrage, although the driver was injured, the SP told PTI.

The incident happened when the car was traveling from the hamlet of Asansol Sankul in Sarath, Deoghar, to Giridih.

The accident happened when a family member, a professional engineer, began driving the SUV to snap selfies and lost control of it, according to the police.
