In Karnal district, 200 buses were inspected, and 23 were challaned

The district administration carried out a safety examination of school buses on Saturday in order to guarantee the security of the students. At various points around the district, school buses were examined by teams of officials made up of SDMs, police officers, representatives from the RTA office, and representatives from the Education Department. After more than 200 buses were inspected by the authorities, 23 were questioned and 11 were seized.

A group headed by SDM Anubhav Mehta examined over fifty buses and seized six cars for anomalies, accompanied by representatives from the Education Department and the RTA office. Roughly one lakh rupees in fines were collected.

In the event of an emergency, SDM Mehta urged everyone to contact the emergency services at the toll-free lines 112 and 1073 right away.

Private school owners and management attended a meeting hosted by Assandh SDM Virender Dhull, who gave them instructions to get the subdivisional level of their cars inspected. Seventy-five private school buses in the Indri subdivision were examined; twenty-three of them received penalties, and five of them were impounded.

Admns in Sonepat and Panipat are harsh with cars.

Panipat: A school bus inspection campaign has been conducted by the district administrations of Sonepat and Panipat. After scrutinizing 128 cars over the previous two days, officials in Panipat seized 20 school vehicles and charged 30 others. After 91 school cars were inspected by authorities in Sonepat, 26 were challaned and nine were seized.

438 school cars have reportedly been registered with the Panipat RTA office. On Saturday, authorities in Panipat seized three buses from DPS Refinery School, four from St. Mary’s Convent School, two from Guru Gobind Singh Public School, and three from KR Manglam Schools.

Additionally, 17 automobiles were seized when it was discovered that these buses had broken state government regulations. Six cars were seized by authorities in Sonepat: a bus from IIMT-Murthal, a private vehicle from Spring Era School, a bus from Child Care School, a bus from Raunaq Public School, a bus from Navjyoti Public School, and an Apollo International School bus from Gannaur. Rohtak police impounded 37 busses.

A group headed by Rohtak SDM Ashish Kumar examined the buses at a number of the schools under his supervision. Following an inspection of over 100 school buses, 39 were challaned and 37 were impounded. According to the SDM, school owners that have buses that don’t meet the required standards will not be excused.

He gave the school owners instructions to have regular physical examinations performed on its drivers. According to the SDM, school bus fitness certifications need to be acquired annually from the appropriate authorities. TNS
