In K’taka, Kirloskar Ferrous reopens operations

Pune: In Hiriyur, Karnataka, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries has reopened its small blast furnace. The business temporarily stopped operations at the factory in February because of difficult market circumstances, which included decreased demand and falling pig iron prices.

With the recovery in pig iron pricing and the recent upswing in market mood, the business has decided to resume operations of the micro blast furnace, which will take effect on April 15.

The business supplies raw materials to industries like diesel engines, tractors, and autos.
