In the Rathi murder case, two people are detained in Goa

In a significant development, the district police today succeeded in apprehending two suspects in the February 25 killings of INLD state chief Nafe Singh Rathi and his close aide Jai Kishan at the Barahi level crossing in Bahadurgarh town. They did this in conjunction with the Special Cell of Delhi Police and the Special Task Force (STF), Haryana.

Ashish and Sachin, also known as Sourav, from Nangloi, Delhi, were apprehended in Goa and are suspected of being part of the infamous Kapil Sangwan, also known as the Nandu gang. They parked their i20 automobile outside the Rewari train station and traveled across Gujarat and Maharashtra to get to Goa. From Rewari, they took a train to Ahmedabad, according to Waseem Akram, SP, STF.

Jhajjar Special Police Two others, Atul from Delhi and Deepak Sangwan, also known as Nakul from Narnaul, are still at large, according to Arpit Jain. Sachin’s father is a tenth pass and a vegetable vendor. He has already been charged with theft in two incidents and the Arms Act in another, while Ashish has been charged with manhandling. After both were presented to the local court, an eight-day police remand was granted.
