In Vizag, three juveniles set a guy on fire

A 35-year-old man passed away on Thursday in Chinna Uppada village, Bheemili mandal, Visakhapatnam, after three children are said to have set him on fire. Semala Nagabhushanam was identified as the dead. At one point, INS Kalinga employed him as a supervisor.

Bheemili CI D Ramesh said that the incident happened when Nagabhushanam got into a fight with several guys from Pedda Uppada, Chinna Uppada SC Colony, and Chapala Dibbadipalem villages.

The youngsters were allegedly reprimanded by Nagabhushanam for their alleged mischievous behavior towards females in the vicinity of his residence, which led to the altercation.

The lads attacked Nagabhushanam, dousing him with a combustible chemical that they thought was paint thinner, and then lighting him on fire. He was badly burned.

He was sent to the King George Hospital but died from his wounds. The three children have been placed under arrest by the police, and a case has been opened.
