Killing ultras on home soil under a strict government: Modi

Days after India refuted a claim by international media that it had eradicated militants in Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that terrorists were now being slain on their own soil as a result of a strong central government.

“During a rally in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, we have a government that has strengthened India many times in comparison to the past,” the prime minister said.

The prime minister seemed certain that this time, in the mountainous state, the BJP will win three straight seats. In addition to winning the 2022 Assembly elections for a second time in a row, the BJP won all five of Uttarakhand’s divisions in 2014 and 2019. This victory defied historical precedent, which stated that no incumbent had ever been reelected since the state’s founding in 2000.

On April 19, voting for all seats in Uttarakhand will take place in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

“The audacious BJP government nullified Article 370 in J&K, outlawed the backward practice of triple talaq, and enacted a bill securing 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state legislatures,” the speaker said.

While attempting to connect with families whose loved ones serve in the military (Uttarakhand is renowned as the “heartland of heroes”), the prime minister revealed that troops did not even have bulletproof jackets under the Congress government.

“Our troops are protected now by bulletproof vests produced in India. India is already producing everything domestically, including guns and fighter planes. Our administration even complied with the military services’ long-standing demand for “one rank, one pension,” he stated. The PM remarked that the Congress had not even made sure that our border regions had efficient communication, calling the previous UPA government, headed by the Congress, “grossly apathetic” regarding the modernization of troops.

The PM also spoke with prominent gamers in the nation about his goals for the young, the industry, and the potential of the Indian startup scene. On April 13, the video exchange will be available to the public.
