Leaders certain of loss chose the Rajya Sabha path: The PM made fun of Sonia Gandhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Sunday that those who lost elections had “fled the field” and had gone to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan, a subtly disparaging remark directed against Congress leader Sonia Gandhi.

“Those who are incapable of running for office or winning one have left the field. They have traveled from Rajasthan to the Rajya Sabha this time. “The state of the Congress is really terrible,” Modi said during a Jalore rally.

Among the MPs from Rajasthan who were elected to the Rajya Sabha in February is former Congress president Sonia.

The Prime Minister made the suggestion that the Congress would “redistribute wealth of people to Muslims” if it were to win power at a rally in Banswara. He highlighted previous Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s statement that the minority group had the first claim on the nation’s resources. According to Modi, the Congress intended to distribute people’s precious assets and hard-earned cash to “those who have more children” and “infiltrators.”

As the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections heated up in Jalore, Modi blasted the Congress, claiming it could not govern the nation. He said that since the “grand old party” lacked candidates for the elections, it was a sign of instability. There are 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. Of them, 12 constituencies had their first round of voting on April 19. The other 13 seats, which include Jalore and Banswara, will have their first round of voting on April 26.

Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of former chief minister Ashok Gehlot, is the Jalore Congress candidate.

“The Congress has been punished by half of Rajasthan in the first round of voting.” The very patriotic state of Rajasthan is aware that the Congress would never be able to unite India,” Modi said.

“The Congress has allowed nepotism to spread like termites, hollowing out the nation.” The nation is now punishing the Congress for their transgressions. The Congress bears responsibility for the current state of affairs. The Prime Minister said, “The party that once won 400 seats is unable to fight 300 seats on its own.” Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was nominated by Rajasthan to the Rajya Sabha, according to Modi, but “was he ever seen in the state”?

“The Congress spread corruption and the termite of ‘parivaarwad,’ hollowing out the nation.” The Prime Minister said, “The country’s young are so incensed with the Congress that they don’t want to see it happen again.

Later, Modi said that the Congress “only sells fear, hunger, and corruption” while the BJP “did development work for the poor with complete honesty” in Banswara, a Scheduled Tribe seat.

The Congress-backed Rajkumar Roat is the candidate put up by the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP), whereas Mahendrajit Singh Malviya of Banswara is the candidate put forward by the BJP.

Modi reminded the Banswara crowd that Droupadi Murmu, a tribal woman, was the nation’s president thanks to the BJP.

He added that the Congress merely “intimidated” Dalits, tribals, and the destitute, whereas the BJP will provide the tribal people free food, water, and power.
