Lok Sabha Elections 2024: CM Mohan Yadav Declares, “We Have Won Chhindwara,” And Offers Support To Candidates From Dewas & Ujjain

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): On Monday, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reaffirmed his belief in taking Chhindwara, the stronghold of Nath. “I am confident we have won the Chhindwara seat; only results are awaited.”

On April 19, Chhindwara and the other five state parliamentary seats—Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, and Balaghat—went to the elections in the first round of voting.

“We are approaching the second phase of elections, and nominations for the third and fourth phases have started,” the Chief Minister said in a statement to the media. I’m traveling to Ujjain, Shajapur, and Malwa today. Until the final vote is cast, we won’t stop. We will become more enthusiastic and excited about the present Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, particularly now that we have made the decision to win 29 of the 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh.

“Chhindwara, which was our minus seat in the previous two Lok Sabha elections, now I can say that we have won the Chhindwara seat; only the result is awaited now,” said Chief Minister Yadav.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won a sizable majority in Madhya Pradesh in the general elections of 2014 and 2019, taking 27 of the state’s 29 parliamentary seats in the former year and 28 seats in the latter. In spite of this domination, the Congress party was able to hold onto Chhindwara, a vital seat.

CM Yadav offers assistance to the Ujjain and Dewas contestants.

Mahendra Singh Solanky, the BJP contender for the Dewas Lok Sabha constituency, received backing from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Cabinet Minister Indersingh Parmar. In the same way, he got in touch with the Ujjain Returning Officer’s officer while Anil Firojiya was submitting his nomination packet.
