LS Polls: Today, PM Modi will campaign in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at two public gatherings in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections: one in Karauli-Dholpur, Rajasthan, and another at an electoral rally in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

Prime Minister Modi will hold his second rally in Uttarakhand on Thursday at noon, ahead of the state’s April 19 Lok Sabha election for five seats. The Prime Minister had previously spoken at a public gathering on April 2 at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand.

On Thursday at 3:30 p.m., Prime Minister Modi will speak at a public gathering in Karauli, Rajasthan, in honor of Gangaur.

The BJP candidate from Karauli-Dholpur Lok Sabha seat, Indu Devi Jatav, will get the Prime Minister’s support at the Vijay Shankhnad rally. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and other BJP officials will attend the event in addition to Prime Minister Modi.

April 19 is set aside for this Parliamentary constituency’s first round of polling and voting.

Important political developments that will take place nationwide today include:

*On Thursday, Congressman Rahul Gandhi will face off in Rajasthan’s elections, attending polling places in Anupgarh at 11 a.m. and Phalodi at 3 p.m.

*Rahul Gandhi would concentrate on the Lok Sabha seats of Jodhpur, Barmer, Pali, and Sri Ganganagar from the Phalodi Assembly constituency, as well as the Bikaner and Anupgarh Assembly constituencies.

*On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will go to Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra to speak at three election rallies and take part in other events promoting BJP candidates.

Upon arriving at Mandla, Madhya Pradesh, Union Home Minister Shah would pay homage to Maa Narmada at Rapta Ghat. He would later decorate the city’s Rani Durgavati statue.

*At 1:00 p.m., he will also speak at a rally held at the neighborhood police station under the Mandla Lok Sabha seat.

*Union Home Minister Shah will urge people to vote for the BJP’s Khajuraho Lok Sabha candidate at a public meeting on Thursday at 2:45 p.m. at the Vijaynath Dhaam Mela venue in the Katni district of Madhya Pradesh.

*The Union Home Minister will speak at a public gathering at 5:30 p.m. at the Narsi Ground in the Maharashtra district of Nanded after traveling from Madhya Pradesh.

*On Thursday at 9:45 a.m., at the Manan Bhawan Kendra in Gangtok, BJP National President J.P. Nadda will unveil the party’s manifesto for the Sikkim Assembly elections.

*He will thereafter speak to a public gathering in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, at the ITF field at 3 p.m.

*On Thursday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will go to the Madhya Pradesh districts of Rewa and Satna. He will speak at a public gathering at noon at the Naigarhi Devtalab field, which is part of the Devtalab Assembly seat in the Mauganj district. Later, at 2:30 p.m., the Minister will speak at a public gathering at Angola Ground in the Satna district’s Nagaud Assembly constituency.

*National President of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Mayawati, will launch her campaign on Thursday afternoon. She will attend an election event in Nagpur, which is said to be the heartland of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, to promote party candidates.

Kangana Ranaut, the candidate for Lok Sabha from the Mandi parliamentary seat, is scheduled to campaign in the following constituencies: Manali Assembly on Thursday, Kullu Assembly on Friday, and Banjar Assembly on Saturday.

*Lok Dal Rastriya In support of NDA candidates running for the Lok Sabha seats in Mathura and Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, National President Jayant Chaudhary will speak at an election rally.

*A public gathering will also be held by Chaudhary at 11 a.m. at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Inter Ground in the Bulandshahr hamlet of Bhatauna.

*Afterwards, at 2:00 p.m., he will speak at a public assembly in the Mathura district.

*In Delhi’s Govindpuri Extension, AAP leader and Minister Atishi will carry out a door-to-door campaign called “Jail ka Jawab Vote Se.”
