Man has a close shave when his vehicle catches fire in the village

Late on Wednesday night, in Shahpur village, under the Payal police station in the Khanna region, a moving automobile caught fire. The driver of the automobile had a lucky escape since he stopped the car and jumped out when he saw smoke rising from the engine.

It’s interesting to note that when the automobile caught fire, the driver alerted the locals, who then assisted in issuing a statement from the gurdwara. Soon after, people flocked to the scene and put out the flames. If the fire hadn’t been put out quickly enough, it may have consumed acres of completely mature wheat crops.

The Skoda driver was Mandeep Sharma, a Ghudani village native. He was returning to his hometown. Upon approaching Shahpur village, he saw smoke emanating from the engine. He attempted to stop the vehicle, but it quickly caught fire.

He asked the people for assistance, and they put out the fire in the meantime.

The wheat field was mature on both sides of the road when the car caught fire, according to witnesses. Many acres of crop would have been burned to ashes if the fire had reached the crop.
