Mau Wall Collapse: UP CM Yogi Gives Rs 2 lakh to Each Dead Person’s Family

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday that the relatives of the victims of the Mau Wall collapse tragedy will get an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakhs apiece, while the wounded parties would receive Rs 50,000 each. An official statement said that CM Yogi has sent his condolences to the departed family and prayed for the wounded person’s quick recovery.

The district administration authorities have been directed by the Chief Minister to promptly transport the wounded individuals to the hospital and ensure they get appropriate medical care. According to the official announcement, all wounded parties will get free medical care. A border wall fell at Ghosi roads in Mau district on Friday, injuring 22 people and killing six, including two mothers and two children.

As a group of ladies were preparing to celebrate the Haldi ceremony at the home of Brijesh, son of Harihar Prasad Madheshiya, in Kasba Ghosi, a wall constructed next to a private school in the Madapur Samaspur neighborhood of the Ghosi Kotwali region, fell. The local authorities and police were to the scene right away to provide assistance and rescue as soon as they learned about the aforementioned tragedy. The wounded were admitted to PGI Azamgarh, District Hospital, Fatima Hospital, and Community Health Centre Ghosi.

All parties involved were given guidelines. Law and order is in place, vigilance is being maintained, and peace prevails. The police officer said that more investigation and legal action are being conducted.
