MLC cautions BJP rebels in Karnataka over their “go back Karjol” campaign

In reference to their resistance to BJP’s official candidate Govind Karjol from the Chitradurga Lok Sabha seat, MLC KS Naveen on Sunday threatened dissident BJP members and Holalkere MLA M Chandrappa with terrible repercussions if they continued with the “go back Karjol” declaration.

On April 4, the final day of the procedure, Karjol will register his candidacy, according to Naveeen. On April 12, a massive campaign event at Holalkere has been planned, with over 50,000 attendees, she said.

According to him, Chandrappa was unsuccessful in getting his son Raghu Chandan’s ticket because of his remarks against former chief minister BS Yediyurappa.

He said that Karjol, a Madiga, had been awarded the seat in accordance with the party’s social engineering scheme.

On April 12, when Union Home Minister Amit Shah visits Chitradurga, the matter will be addressed.
