New Delhi: The BJP manifesto promises Nari Shakti a significant boost

The BJP’s Lok Sabha election platform has a strong focus on women’s empowerment by increasing their employment opportunities in the IT, healthcare, and education sectors. It also aims to create an additional 3 crore Lakhpati Didis in rural regions.

The manifesto highlights the achievements of the Modi government’s program, which has enabled one crore rural women to become Lakhpati Didis. If the BJP is elected to a third term in office, an additional three crore rural women will also become Lakhpati Didis.

In order to boost their income and integrate women’s self-help groups (SHGs) with ongoing initiatives like One District, One Product (ODOP), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Ekta Mall, ONDC, GEM, and One Station One Product, the manifesto pledges to equip SHGs with skills and resources in critical service sectors like IT, healthcare, education, retail, and tourism.

In order to support more female involvement in the workforce, the manifesto also pledges to guarantee the development of infrastructure, such as working women’s hostels, creches, etc. with an emphasis on places close to commercial and industrial areas.

In order to guarantee a healthy life for women, it also guarantees that the government will increase the availability of current health services that are focused on the prevention and reduction of osteoporosis, breast cancer, cervical cancer, and anemia. According to the manifesto, a concentrated effort will be started to eradicate cervical cancer. The long-awaited Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam has already been implemented, as the Modi-led government has made clear in the manifesto.

According to the manifesto, “We will systematically implement this to ensure representation for women in the Parliament and state legislatures.”
