No injuries were reported when a fire broke out in the AC coaches of the stationed Udyan Express in Bengaluru

Two air-conditioned carriages of a parked Udyan Express caught fire on Saturday morning at Bengaluru’s main train station. Since there are no people in the bogies, there are no injuries.

According to PTI, the train left Mumbai at 5.45 am and landed at Bengaluru City Railway Station’s platform three.


Anish Hegde, the South Western Railway’s chief public relations officer, allegedly said, “At 07.10 am smoke in B1 and B2 carriages was discovered. The fire brigade received a message right away. The fire was put out by the fire department when they arrived at 7.35 am.

He said that they are looking into what started the fire.

To put out the fire, the firemen, according to PTI, shattered the coach’s glass.
