On the Mahadayi project, the BJP is distorting the truth: Forum

Hubballi: The Karnataka (R) Raita Sena has claimed that the BJP is deceiving the public about the approval of the Mahadayi project.

“We have been demonstrating for the last nine years on this topic. As of now, the Union government has not given any approval, according to Sena state president Veeresh Sobaradmath.
In an interview with reporters on Monday, Sobaradmath said that Mahesh Tenginkai and Basangouda Patil, two BJP MLAs, are misrepresenting the situation.

“After talking to farmers in nine taluks across four districts, the Sena will launch a protest if BJP leaders fail to furnish details,” he said.
