Palwal Replaced As Meeting Location For Hindu Organization’s ‘Mahapanchayat’ In Haryana Following Violence

Following the violence in the region that resulted in the deaths of six people, a Hindu organization in Nuh, Haryana, has made plans to hold a ‘Mahapanchayat,’ but they have decided to move the event away from the region itself.

According to a report by NDTV, the meeting is going to be held to talk about “completing” the religious march that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad was assaulted during one month ago in Nuh, which caused a racial conflict.

It was stated that the event was still moved to Palwal, which is around 35 kilometers away, when the police refused to provide authorization for it.

According to what was written, the gathering would now take place near the Palwal-Nuh border.

The mahapanchayat will now take place at the hamlet of Pondri, which is located in the district of Palwal. According to the report, the office of the Palwal Superintendent of Police verified that the meeting does in fact have approval from the police.

It was said that the Sarv Hindu Samaj is the one responsible for organizing the event.

It is stated that on August 28, a discussion would take place during the event on the restart of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) parade.

It was also said that the mahapanchayat will seek the release of any young people who had been detained in connection with the communal riots.

In the past, the government have declined to provide permission to the Hindu organizations Bajrang Dal and the VHP to organize the Mahapanchayat because to the preexisting instability in the law and order situation.

On the other hand, according to the article, members of both organizations will allegedly be present at today’s get-together.

According to the report, the Hindu Samaj Mahapanchayat called for a boycott of Muslim merchants at a rally that was conducted earlier in Gurugram shortly after the violence. The Hindu Samaj Mahapanchayat did not have permission from the authorities to hold the event.

It said that there were a number of other community addresses that took place there.

According to the report, the police in Nuh expected that today’s gathering might perhaps contribute to the tensions that are currently there. since of this, the police decided not to provide authorization for the event since they are working to bring peace back to Nuh, the report added.

In addition, posters advertising the mahapanchayat were distributed across different social media platforms by the people who are responsible for organizing today’s event.

According to the article, a banner that has been making the rounds on social media states that “The yatra is being organized to boost the confidence of Hindus.”

On Friday, the Gurugram Police Department issued an official statement asking the general people to avoid from engaging in any activities that might hurt the feelings of any group and disrupt the peace. These activities include shouting out inflammatory slogans, giving speeches, carrying banners, and engaging in other similar behaviors.

Several farmer unions and Khap panchayats have issued an appeal for peace and sought the arrest of cow vigilante Monu Manesar. The tension in the region was sparked by the cow vigilante’s purported assertion that he would be participating in the parade on July 31.

Manesar, a senior in the Bajrang Dal, is sought for questioning for his suspected involvement in the murder of two Muslim men earlier this year.
