Paras Ram, a former Anni MLA, joins Congress

Along with his followers, Paras Ram, a former member from the Anni Assembly section in the Kullu region, joined the Congress today.

Today, Paras Ram met with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and his followers, pledging their support for the Congress party. He has run as an Independent in the 2022 Assembly elections.

The party has just reversed his expulsion in an effort to reintegrate the renegade leaders.

He pledged to carry out his given duties and serve the party like a devoted employee. In attendance for the event were HIMUDA vice president Yashwant Chhajta, CPS Sanjay Awasthi, and Minister of Horticulture Jagat Singh Negi. Among those in attendance were Pankaj Parmar, the president of the Kullu District Council, and Buddhi Singh Thakur, the former president of the Kullu District Congress Committee.
