People’s Lives Have Been Richened by the Center’s Welfare Schemes: Sonowal

On Thursday, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that the nation’s standard of living has been improved by the many social programs implemented under the energetic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sonowal accompanied the prime minister at Dakhin Pakua GP Office Ground in Dev Block in Nalbari during his virtual engagement with recipients of different government initiatives run under the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’.

“This’sankalp yatra’ is an earnest attempt to make the people of our country aware of the various welfare schemes aimed at improving the quality of lives and at the same time enabling social apparatus towards realising his vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2047,” Sonowal said, acknowledging the prime minister’s dynamic leadership.

He said that the government’s many welfare programs, including as “PM Kisan,” “PM Awas Yojana,” “PM SVANidhi,” “Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana,” “Jan Dhan Yojana,” and many more, are designed to support the underprivileged, respect the marginalized, and guarantee the welfare of farmers.

To empower women in the cause of nation-building, the government has launched many programs such as ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’, ‘Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana’ (PMMVY) and several others, he said. It has also addressed societal problems like triple talaq.

According to Sonowal, the minister of shipping, the country’s young continue to be the key to achieving the Prime Minister’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” goal and implementing the National Education Policy, the Skill India project, and other significant programs.

The “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” is being carried out all across the nation to guarantee that benefits reach all targeted individuals within a certain amount of time in order to achieve saturation of the government’s flagship initiatives.

In addition, the prime minister announced the establishment of the “Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra,” which would provide women’s self-help groups (SHGs) with drones so they may use technology to support their livelihoods.

At AIIMS, Deoghar in Jharkhand, he also dedicated the historic 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra and started a campaign to raise the total number of these facilities in the nation from 10,000 to 25,000.

On this occasion, Queen Oja, a Guwahati-based MP and union minister, was also in attendance.
