Phase 1 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 will begin on April 19. Voter ID requirements and polling booth inspection procedures are listed

On April 19, at 7 a.m., polls for the first round of the Lok Sabha elections, which will include 21 states and Union Territories, will open.

This year, there will be seven stages to the polls: the first on April 19, the second on April 26, the third on May 7, the fourth on May 13, the fifth on May 20, the sixth on May 25, and the seventh on June 1. On June 4, the votes will be tallied.

The states of Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Manipur, Rajasthan, and West Bengal will be the most important voting blocs in the first round of the elections.

There are a few key facts that all voters need to know before voting season begins.

RECORDS NECESSARY FOR VOTING
Voting in the elections is open to anybody whose name is on the electoral register.

ID for voters; driver’s license
Visa and Aadhar cards
PAN card
MNREGA employment document
Smart cards issued by RGI under NPR Passbooks with photos provided by state banks or post offices Service identity cards with photos provided to staff members of federal, state, municipal, and private sector organizations Pension documents with photos and health insurance smart cards issued through the Ministry of Labor’s program
MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and others are granted official identification cards.

Choose your favorite language and enter your state.
Enter your name, last name, birthdate, and gender.

Choose your assembly constituency and district.
After entering the captcha code, choose “Search.”
