PM Modi addressed the Amroha rally: “Previous governments cheated SC, ST, and OBCs in the name of social justice.”

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was pursuing the vision of social reformers Jyotiba Phule, B R Ambedkar, and Chaudhary Charan Singh, accusing earlier administrations of defrauding the SC, ST, and OBC populations in the name of social justice.

The prime minister also made a subtle jab at Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by claiming that “do shehzade ki jodi” has been rejected by the populace.

“Previous governments have only cheated the people of SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), and OBC (Other Backward Classes) communities in the name of social justice,” Modi said, speaking at a poll rally here in support of Kanwar Singh Tanwar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Amroha Lok Sabha constituency in western Uttar Pradesh. “Modi is working day and night to achieve the social justice dream of Jyotiba Phule, Ambedkar and (former prime minister) Chaudhary Charan Singh,” he said.

During the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections, which saw voting in eight seats in western Uttar Pradesh, the prime minister spoke at the event.

On April 26, Amroha will have its second round of voting.

In a subdued jab at Gandhi and Yadav, Modi said, “We are currently filming ‘do shehzade ki jodi (pair of two princes)’.” However, their movie has already been turned down.

“These individuals take a basket full of corruption, dynasty, and appeasement with them whenever they go out to solicit for votes from the people of Uttar Pradesh. They never give us the opportunity to have our beliefs attacked.” Aimed at Danish Ali, the Congress candidate from Amroha, the prime minister said he had problems with the phrase “Bharat Mata ki jai”.

“Will someone who is unable to embrace Bharat Mata ki jai seem respectable in the Indian Parliament? Is it appropriate for someone like them to be let into the Indian Parliament? He enquired about the rally.

“The SP and the Congress declined the invitation to the Ram temple’s consecration ceremony in Ayodhya,” Modi added, slamming the opposition. The invitation to the event was declined by those who were desperate for vote banks.

“After turning down the offer, they are still not pleased, so they mistreat Sanatan Dharma and the Ram temple. To curry favour with its voter base, the SP refers to Ram bhakts as ‘pakhandi’ (hypocrite). The INDIA bloc despises Sanatan Dharma. The prime minister said that “the prince of the Congress said there is nothing to pray under the sea” as he submerged himself to offer prayers in Gujarat’s Dwarka, where Lord Krishna had gone from Amroha. Only to appease their voter bases, they are discarding our beliefs.

“Those in Bihar who say they are Yaduvanshis, in Uttar Pradesh, the leader who takes the benefits of being a Yaduvanshi, I want to ask them, how can they sit with a party that insults Lord Krishna?” he added, taking a swipe at Yadav and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. How are you going to reach a deal with them?” Modi remarked, “This vote-bank politics burnt western Uttar Pradesh in the fire of riots,” accusing it of being the cause of the communal unrest. The Goonda Raj period is something that the people of Uttar Pradesh will never forget. It forced many to move.

“Yogiji, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, eliminated criminals to ensure your safety.” We have to make sure that these forces are never in any way empowered again.” The prime minister urged everyone to cast their ballots at the start of his address. “I appeal to everyone to exercise their right to vote given by the Constitution,” he said.

Modi emphasized that young people should vote in particular to ensure their future and the future of the nation.

Slandering the opposition group in India, he said, “Those in the INDI alliance are using their strengths to make villages backwards.” Adityanath was beside the prime minister on the dais.
