PM Modi criticizes Trinamool for election violence in Bengal by saying, “Khooni khel khela hai”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that the in power Mamata-Banerjee Trinamool Congress had “played with blood” in reference to the violence that occurred during the Panchayat elections in West Bengal.

PM Modi addressed the Kshetriya Panchayati Raj Parishad in West Bengal via videoconference and remarked, “TMC ne khooni khel khela hai.

The party was also accused by the prime minister of scaring voters and “making their life hell.”

“They take all necessary steps to make sure that no BJP candidate can submit their candidacy…They pose a danger to voters as well as BJP members. Contracts are awarded to purchase booths. This is how they do state politics, the prime minister stated.

He further said that TMC hired men with contracts to seize the booth on the day of the vote-counting.

“The party had handed thugs a contract and instructed them to seize booths on the day of the count. The TMC pushed BJP members out of office during the vote counting and forbade them from even watching. They held rallies against our members after the BJP won despite all of this, the prime minister said.
