PM Modi Examines Varanasi’s Shivpur-Phulwaria-Lahartara Marg

Varanasi: On Thursday night, at approximately 11 p.m., Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Shivpur-Pulwaria-Lahartara marg shortly after arriving from Gujarat. The project was just launched. About 5 lakh residents in the southern portion of the state who want to go to the airport, Lucknow, Azamgarh, or Ghazipur would find it quite helpful.

The road project, which cost Rs 360 crore to build, would lessen traffic jams and cut the 75-minute trip time from BHU to the airport to 45 minutes. In a same vein, it will cut down on the 30-minute journey time from Lahartara to Kachahri to only 15 minutes.

Interministerial cooperation was shown in this initiative, including from the Defense and Railway departments, to improve Varanasi residents’ quality of life.

CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed Prime Minister Modi as he landed at the Varanasi airport earlier. In Varanasi, the prime minister also conducted a roadshow. He is scheduled to arrive on February 23 and stay for two days.

During his visit, he will also officially open development projects in Purvanchal valued at Rs 13167.07 crore.

The Prime Minister will start the event in the morning at BHU’s Swatantra Bhawan. Following that, he will pay respects and give a speech to the followers at the birthplace of Saint Shiromani Ravidas. The Prime Minister will next visit Banas Kashi Sankul (Amul Dairy) at Karkhianv Agro Park, where he will lay the groundwork for 12 projects worth Rs 2195.07 crore and inaugurate 23 projects totaling Rs 10972.00 crore.

From this location, the prime minister will also speak before a sizable public gathering that is expected to include several farmers.

In addition, he will stop by the Kashi Sansad Photography Competition Gallery and talk with the competitors about their photos that they submitted with the topic “Samvarti Kashi.” The PM will travel by car to Sirgovardhan at around 11:45 am, after an approximately one-hour program.

The Prime Minister will lay the cornerstone of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Varanasi, hoping to promote the city’s renowned textile industry. The infrastructure for education and training in the textile industry will be strengthened by this new institution.

The Prime Minister will lay the cornerstone of a new medical college in Varanasi, enhancing the city’s healthcare infrastructure. In addition, he will lay the cornerstone for BHU’s National Center on Aging. In an effort to improve the city’s sporting facilities, the prime minister will open the District Rifle Shooting Range and Sigra Sports Stadium Phase 1.

A number of urban development projects, including an NTPC urban waste-to-charcoal plant in Ramna, an improvement to the Sis-Varuna area’s water supply network, online effluent monitoring, and SCADA automation of STP-sewerage pumping stations, will be officially opened by PM Modi in Varanasi.

The Prime Minister will also set the groundwork for a number of initiatives aimed at improving Varanasi’s aesthetics, such as pond revitalization projects, park renovation projects, and a project to design and create a 3-D digital map and database.

In Varanasi, the prime minister will also unveil a number of initiatives pertaining to travel and spiritual travel. Ten spiritual treks along the Panchkoshi Parikrama Marg and the renovation of public spaces at five Pavan Path locations are among these initiatives.
