PM Modi prioritized the development of the Hamirpur sector, according to Anurag

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated today that the development of Hamirpur has remained his top priority. Anurag Thakur, the union minister for information and broadcasting, made this statement. He continued by saying that out of the Rs 11,000 crore approved for road infrastructure in the state, the Prime Minister has set aside more than Rs 5,000 crore for the development of the Hamirpur parliamentary seat.

After giving out safety kits to taxi drivers at this particular taxi stop, Anurag was speaking to a group of people. He stated that even of the Rs 2,700 crore approved under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Rs 850 crore was allocated for rural roads in the Hamirpur constituency, which comprises portions of two nearby districts, Mandi and Kangra, as well as three districts: Una, Bilaspur, and Hamirpur.

He continued by saying that the parliamentary seat had the greatest road system in the area and that commuters were now saving time and money as it only took three hours to go to Chandigarh instead of five.

He announced the establishment of many new institutions, including the Hydel Engineering College and AIIMS in Bilaspur, the Medical College, the Center of Excellence for Sports in Hamirpur, and a IIIT in Una.
