Prime Minister Narendra Modi allegedly told MPs during a meeting on Wednesday night as he met state in charge and other office bearers from Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Union Territories of Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, and Delhi that those who left the NDA fold did so for “selfish” reasons.

The PM emphasized throughout the meeting the accomplishments of the NDA administration over the previous nine years and how, thanks to the support of figures like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the coalition has grown stronger over the last 25 years.

When responding to claims from certain quarters that close and long-time friends had abandoned the NDA, Prime Minister Modi said, “Those who left the NDA did so out of their own selfish, political motives. Additionally, this applied to longtime ally Akali Dal.

You may recall that the Modi government’s cabinet minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal resigned during the passage of the agriculture legislation, and the Akali Dal, which had been allied with the BJP for more than 25 years, left the NDA.

In addition, PM Modi criticized INDIA, the opposition coalition, for being a corrupt coalition.

The Prime Minister urged that the MPs should continually remain in touch with the people on the ground and seek to enhance their social media presence at the gathering of other clusters at the Garvi Gujarat complex in New Delhi. JP Nadda, the national head of the BJP, and Nitin Gadkari, a minister in the Union, attended this meeting.

He said that all NDA MPs should put the last mile delivery of all central government programs first.

The visitors were fed a variety of traditional foods from all the states and UTs. The welcoming beverage was Ladakhi Sea Buckthorn Juice. Traditional dishes including Nadru Yakhni from Jammu and Kashmir, Sepu Vadi from Himachal Pradesh, Amritsari Chole Kulche from Punjab, Bajra Khichadi & Roti from Haryana, and Garhwal Ka Fannah from Uttarakhand were served as the main course to the visitors.

The menu included Ghewar from Old Delhi, Chena Murki from Chandigarh, and Walnut Fudge from Srinagar for the sweets and desserts.

Modi has participated in each of the six cluster meetings so far, which have included representatives from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, and Delhi.

The NDA will have five more of these discussions over the course of three days the following week. The sessions the next week are anticipated to draw states from the west, center, and northeast.
