PM Modi will speak to the 50 lakh Gen Z voters that the BJP Yuva Wing hopes to recruit on January 25

The BJP is getting ready to launch a national campaign known as “NaMo Navmatdata Sammelan” in an effort to connect with over 50 lakh “Gen Z” voters—those who are between the ages of 18 and 23—for the Lok Sabha elections.

Children may sign up for the campaign by calling the BJP’s cellphone number and leaving a missed message. As an alternative, a QR code is also making the rounds for younger people who have grown up with these kinds of media. On January 25, in 5,000 sites, they will be able to virtually listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi live thanks to the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Mocha (BJYM).

JP Nadda, the president of the BJP, launched the campaign recently.

In each of the 5,000 sites around India, there are about 1,000 first-time voters. Before January 25, we want to add 50 lakh new voters to the BJP, a source said. Modi will connect with the audience via LED displays at each venue.

“PM Modi Ji’s dynamic policies, including Skill India, Start-up India, and the New Education Policy, are heralding a transformative era for India’s youth, empowering them with opportunities and fostering holistic development,” said Tejaswi Surya, national president of BJP Yuva Morcha, who has been leading the campaign, to News18. He went on to say that the Gen Next would hear this message since they are the benefactors of “New India.”

According to a source, there would be at least one of these conventions in each assembly seat, but there may be many “Sammelans” in certain assembly seats in larger states like Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. There are 4,123 assembly constituencies in India. This brings the number of places for the “NaMo Navmatdata Sammelan” on January 25 to 5,000 in total.

An further source said that in addition to collecting registrations using the BJP’s given cellphone number and QR code, its youthful cadres would also scan playgrounds, coaching centers, and educational institutions—all of which are frequented by first-time voters.

The BJP’s youth wing will provide these Gen, Next voters, an overview of the changes that have occurred over the last ten years, even if the majority of them are unaware of issues like frequent power outages, a dearth of IIMs in some towns, and the existence of only one AIIMS in Delhi.

“Our journey is reflected in newspapers across the country from the first to the last page, which is a testament to the remarkable transformation under Modi Ji,” Surya said in News18. The BJP and its young army aim to make first-time voters aware of this “transformation”.

There are already initiatives underway to connect with these new voters. There will likely be around 15 crore first-time voters this year, while official figures are still pending. Even before the election dates are published, the BJP wants to make sure that 50 lakh people support them by January 25.
