“Priyanka Gandhi said that the BJP will not win more than 180 seats if there is no tampering with the EVMs.”

In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that the Bhartiya Janata Party will not win more than 180 seats if free and fair elections are held without any EVM tampering.

The Congressman questioned the foundation of the BJP’s assertion that it had secured over 400 seats in an interview with ANI. “What is the basis for their claim that they will receive $400? Are they astrologers?” she said. They either know they will get more than 400 tickets or they have done something similar in the past. How can they claim that 400 seats will be available if not? They will not win more than 180 seats; in fact, they will win less than 180 seats if today’s elections in this nation are handled in a manner that prevents the manipulation of electronic voting machines.

Priyanka Gandhi said that she sees the election from the perspective of the people and emphasized that the concerns facing the people should guide the electoral process.

“I keep telling the people that this election ought to be the people’s election wherever I go. The people’s problems should be the focus of the discussion.”

Priyanka attacked BJP officials and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that they are not addressing inflation and unemployment. “The topics of inflation and unemployment are not being discussed. The actual problems that women and farmers confront are not being addressed. The whole purpose of all the talks is to distract people.” The Congress leader said that the people demand change and that PM Modi has lost touch with them, saying that they have not witnessed any progress in their lives in the last ten years.

“People are in need of change. This kind of politics is not what they want. Nothing has changed in the lives of regular men and women during the last ten years. They are not finding work, and the rate of inflation is not decreasing. It is festival season. It’s Ram Navami today. Individuals lack the funds to purchase anything. He stays silent on inflation and unemployment. I get the impression that those close to him are keeping information from him. He doesn’t connect with people,” she said.

Priyanka Gandhi expressed her opinions on the electoral bond program and questioned PM Modi’s claim that it is a transparent system.

“He (PM Modi) said yesterday that the electoral bond mechanism has made the whole system transparent. The Supreme Court is now urging transparency and the release of donor names. Following the release of the list, we learned that the firm handling a sum of Rs. 180 crore is contributing Rs. 1100. The individuals who were subjected to the raid have donated to you, and the matter has now been concluded. How is the battle against corruption going, then? They are the most corrupt of all. Priyanka Gandhi said, “They created the crooked system, and now that they are exposed, they claim it is an open list.

The general secretary of the Congress tweeted, “I am overwhelmed by the love of the people of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh,” using her official X account. This fervor, devotion, and desire are indicators of the impending transformation. People who have been dissatisfied with inflation and unemployment are starting to see hope for improvement. That hope is reflected in this excitement. It is inevitable that the BJP, which has mistreated the people, will go. India will come together and triumph.”

On April 19, Saharanpur will have its first round of elections, with Congressman Imran Masood facing off against BSP leader Majid Ali and current BJP MP Raghav Lakhanpal. On June 4, the Lok Sabha election results will be announced.
