Punjab: Tempo Collides With Truck In Faridkot, Causing Five Deaths and Several Injuries; Case Filed

In Punjab’s Faridkot area on Friday, a small truck and a trailer truck collided, resulting in a horrific tragedy that left up to five persons dead and several more injured. The accident happened on Kotkapura-Moga road when a trailer truck and a small vehicle with ten people collided, according to the police.

At least eight individuals were hospitalized for injuries, while two people managed to escape unharmed, according to accounts in the media. The incident happened when the locals were traveling back from a holy site in the nearby Himachal Pradesh state of Una. After then, a case was filed, and an inquiry into the issue is still ongoing.

In a different instance, a school bus in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, lost control and crashed after colliding with a bike, resulting in up to four school pupils’ deaths and twelve injuries. It was the bike rider who was killed in the collision. The bus had about forty kids who were coming back after an excursion to the Lucknow Zoo.

In a another incident that happened in Delhi earlier this week, a speeding Mercedes SUV collided into a well-liked restaurant near Kashmiri Gate, leading to injuries for up to six persons. The SUV unexpectedly crashed through the store, shattering tables and hurting patrons who were standing at the restaurant, according to CCTV video of the incident, which happened at Fateh Kachori at approximately three in the afternoon.
