Rahul criticizes Modi for the welfare of OBCs and promises a caste census in Chhattisgarh

Congressman Rahul Gandhi stated on Wednesday that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers himself a leader of the OBC (other backward class), he is reluctant to do a caste census to guarantee that the government’s socioeconomic advantages are available to them.

Gandhi also said that the BJP refers to the tribal people as “vanvasi” rather than “adivasi” because it does not want them to “dream big” while speaking at a rally in the poll-bound Chhattisgarh seat of Ambikapur.

In Chattisgarh, there are two stages of voting. The second phase will take place on November 17, with the first phase taking place on Tuesday. On December 3, the results will be made public.

In every speech, Modi ji talks about the wellbeing of OBCs and refers to himself as an OBC leader. He said there is only one caste, and that is the “poor,” in response to our demands for a caste census. Why then do you identify as an OBC? The Congress politician asked the assembly, “If there is only one caste, then who are those who are rich?”

If the Congress is elected to power in Chhattisgarh, he pledged to organize a caste census similar to the one conducted in Bihar, the data of which were released by the Nitish Kumar administration on Tuesday. In addition, he pledged to conduct the program nationwide in the event that the Congress-affiliated Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance wins a majority in the Lok Sabha elections in the following year.

“The BJP referred to adivasis as ‘vanvasi.'” The distinction between “vanvasi” and “adivasi” is enormous. You have to see the footage of the BJP politician in Madhya Pradesh peeing on a tribal guy. They do similar behaviors with tribals, but they do not urinate on animals. This is how the BJP thinks,” Gandhi said.
