Rahul Slams BRS Govt Over Woman Job Aspirant’s Suicide in Telangana, Calling It “Murder of Dreams, Aspirations of Youths”

Rahul Gandhi said that the suspected suicide of a 23-year-old lady who was studying for competitive examinations was not a suicide but rather the murder of young people’s hopes and ambitions as the Congress criticized the K Chandrasekhar Rao-led BRS government in Telangana on Saturday.

According to Gandhi, the “BJP Rishtedar Samithi – BRS – and BJP together have ruined the state with their incompetence” during the last ten years.

“This is a pledge,” he stated. “The Congress administration in Telangana would publish a job calendar, reorganize TSPSC along the lines of UPSC in one month, and fill 2 lakh vacant government jobs within a year.

The 23-year-old lady, who was preparing for competitive examinations, reportedly committed herself at her dormitory in Hyderabad’s Ashok Nagar, setting off protests from those looking for government jobs under the BRS regime.

When word of the woman’s passing spread on Friday night, several students organized demonstrations in the neighborhood and sang anti-state chants.

Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, expressed shock and sorrow at the suicide.

Kharge stated on X that she was “shocked and deeply anguished” by the death of a 23-year-old student in Telangana who apparently took the dramatic action to take her life owing to persistent postponements and irregularities in the State Public Service Commission Exams.

Our thoughts are with the deceased’s family at this time of sorrow and rage, he added.

Due to the BRS government’s abject indifference to holding exams, he said that thousands of young hopefuls in Telangana are unhappy and furious.

The corrupt, ineffective, and inefficient BRS Government is held responsible by Telangana’s youth, who will remove it from office, according to Kharge.

Gandhi expressed his sadness at the news of the Hyderabad student’s suicide in a post on the social media platform X in Hindi.

The former Congress leader said, “This is not a suicide, it is a murder—of the dreams, hopes, and aspirations of the youth.”

He said that unemployment has entirely destroyed Telangana’s young.

According to a police officer who spoke to the media, the lady apologized to her parents in the suicide note that was found for being unable to help them.
