Rajinikanth Visits ‘Old Friend’ Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow and Will Soon Arrive in Ayodhya

Rajinikanth, a superstar who is now in Uttar Pradesh, visited Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), on Sunday. I first met Akhilesh Yadav nine years ago at a gathering in Mumbai. Since then, we have become friends and often speak on the phone. When I came here for a shoot five years ago, I was unable to meet him; but, because he is now present, we were able to speak.

The south celebrity then departed for Ayodhya to get Lord Ram’s blessings for the accomplishment of his movie, Jailer.

The actor visited Yogi Adityanath at his home in Lucknow on Saturday and touched his feet. The chief minister posted a picture of Rajinikanth with him on social media and described it as a “courtesy meeting”.

Keshav Prasad Maurya, the deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, attended a special screening of “Jailer” that was hosted in Lucknow. ‘Jailer’ was another movie I had the opportunity to view. According to Maurya, who has seen many of Rajinikanth’s movies, “He is such a talented actor that even though there is not much content in the movie, his performance increases the importance of the film.”
