Rajnath Singh claims that in West Bengal, goons are in charge

Rajnath Singh, the minister of defence, criticized the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool administration on Sunday, saying it was preventing West Bengalis from gaining benefits from a number of national programmes.

Speaking at rallies in Darjeeling, Malda North, and Murshidabad, he voiced his worries over the state’s law and order situation.

According to Rajnath, goons are operating with impunity, which causes harassment and unease among the populace.

“West Bengal is a land of great scholars, but it is becoming known for crime and communal tension, and there is an atmosphere of lawlessness throughout the state these days,” he remarked.

He asked the people to support the BJP in West Bengal so that they could see who has the guts to carry out occurrences similar to Sandeshkhali. According to him, the state’s law and order have completely collapsed as a result of goons attacking representatives of the ED and CBI, among other agencies.
