This is the last day to register for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023, according to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The deadline for scholarship applications was initially scheduled for October 18, however it was extended to accommodate hopefuls.

The scholarship is awarded by the CBSE to students who are single girls who have completed their Class 10 test with an overall score of 60% or above. For Classes 11 and 12, the applicant must be enrolled in schools affiliated with the CBSE, where the monthly tuition is limited to Rs 1,500. The entire increase in tuition costs over the following two years shouldn’t exceed ten percent. The scholarship would be given out for a maximum of two years at a cost of Rs 500 per month.

The candidates’ schools must confirm the information on their scholarship applications by November 7. If the school is unable to verify the applications, they will be rejected. The student’s individual school is where the application processing takes place.
