Sasmita: The BJD government did not provide women protection
Dhenkanal: Dhenkanal Sasmita Behera, a candidate for the Lok Sabha Congress, said on Saturday that the administration headed by Naveen Patnaik had ruled the State for 25 years but had failed on several fronts. She added that the BJD administration and the Narendra Modi-led government had an unwritten agreement.
Speaking with reporters, Sasmita said that the BJD administration has not met the people’s fundamental requirements. Despite being in power for such a long time, she said that the Naveen-led administration had not given women protection. She further claimed that coal and chit fund frauds involved the state government.
Attacking the central government, Sasmita said that the Modi administration is using CBI, ED, and IT to attack its opponents.
The Modi-led administration is adhering to the Right to Information, Right to Education, and MGNREGA, which were established by Congress.
In the next Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the people would respond appropriately to the BJP and BJD administrations, she said.
Sushmita Singh Deo, a candidate for the Dhenkanal Assembly Congress, said that the state administration had disregarded necessities like irrigation, healthcare, and drinking water.
