Shafi Parambil, the UDF candidate for Vadakara, establishes new benchmarks for voter outreach

Shafi Parambil, the UDF candidate for Vadakara, arrived to Puravoor in Perambra about 3.30 in the morning as part of his campaign. After more than six hours, the throng—which included women and kids—was eagerly awaiting his arrival. Shafi did not use a microphone since utilizing a public address system after 10 p.m. is prohibited.

“Shafi closing down his campaign late at night has nearly become a habit. His shows usually conclude at about two in the morning. However, the Perambra assembly section shattered every record, according to Congressman Ubaid Vazhayil, a member of the block committee.

“There’s evident excitement, especially among the female and young populations. In his political experience, I have never seen a campaign like this one,” he declares.

Where the candidate was supposed to have lunch, at Naduvathur South, the scenario was the same. More than four hours were lost in the delay. “Please refrain from harboring any animosity against us. Shafi is running late since he has a lot of unforeseen receptions to attend. One of the people assigned to talk until the candidate arrived, Moosa Kothambra, said, “People are waylaying his vehicle and asking him to alight at various points.”

Shafi shows up at the location at 5:00 p.m. for an exciting welcome. He started out by apologizing for the wait. He said, “This crowd’s prolonged waiting for me is proof that no amount of false propaganda will succeed in Vadakara.” Shafi, who grew up in the Oommen Chandy school of politics, has a remarkable capacity to interact with people.

“Hand him the cell phone. He said to a mother who was frantically attempting to calm a sobbing child, “That’s what he wants,” and the audience erupted in laughter.

With a fury, the IUML workers were seen sprinting up the road while brandishing enormous green party flags. IUML workers were seen to be actively present throughout Vadakara.

“I don’t want to use making up accusations to win an election. I don’t think someone would go to any lengths to win an election. Shafi reportedly made reference to the cyberattack on the other candidate when he added, “We have enough and more political things to speak against the LDF.”

Speakers for the UDF were keen to disassociate themselves from the current dispute, which may have a negative impact on Shafi’s chances of winning the election.
