TDP Chief Naidu Charges Minister Peddireddy of Andhra Pradesh of Amassing Rs. 40,000 Cr. in 4 Years

On Saturday, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu questioned if projects in Andhra Pradesh, which is governed by the YSRCP, would be finished if state officials are the accused contractors. He questioned the state minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy’s function and said that he had accumulated fortune from recent irrigation projects.

behind a thorough power-point presentation detailing the “dismal state” of irrigation projects in the merged Chittoor district, Naidu addressed the media and said that, in his opinion, Peddireddy ranked second in theft, behind state Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He claims that Peddireddy has “siphoned off Rs 40,000 crore” from the state’s finances and asserts that every penny that has been embezzled would finally be recovered. The governing party has proclaimed a type of warfare to shed blood inside the State in reaction to our demand for “Yudha Bheri” in defense of irrigation projects, the former chief minister said.

The TDP leader said that the YSRCP’s days were numbered and provided proof of this in the form of rising public dissatisfaction.

In a letter to the police, Naidu emphasized the significance of safeguarding democratic norms and pleaded with them not to fall victim to the deceptive strategies of the leaders of the governing party.

Naidu went on to say that over the last forty years, his active engagement in politics has been motivated by his unrelenting commitment.

He drew attention to the facts, saying that just 10.08 lakh acres of the combined Chittoor district’s 37.43 lakh acres of land are under cultivation, and only 4.33 lakh acres are covered by irrigation.

He probed into the specifics of the district’s irrigation projects and charged Jagan Reddy of obstructing advancement throughout his four-year tenure.

He said that, in contrast to the 102 projects in Rayalaseema that were put on hold, 25 projects were pre-closed in the whole Chittoor district.

Naidu questioned if the project could be finished given that the state ministers “serve as contractors”. “As I fight for all of you, the leaders of the ruling party audaciously call for a bandh,” he said.
