Telangana: An 11-year-old boy’s life is claimed by “baba’s herbal treatment”

An examination into a case involving a missing youngster in Asifabad revealed naive faith and the killing of an innocent 11-year-old.

A lady from Nambala village in Rebenna mandal of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district called Malleshwari went to the police on April 16 to report her son Sulva Rishi missing for the previous three years.

After looking into the matter, the police discovered that the youngster had been treated for several illnesses three years before at the ashram of a Bheemrao “baba” in Pasigam village. At the ashram, where he received “herbal treatment,” the kid passed away from his ailment.

Then, with the help of his father Srinivas, his remains was interred outside the community. Because he apparently did not want to damage the ashram’s image, the boy’s father kept the death a secret from his wife.

Reporters were informed by DSP P Sadaiah that Rishi had been unwell for a long time. The family sought treatment from Bheemrao Baba, trusting him to provide herbal remedies.

Malleshwari questioned her husband when her kid did not come home, but he gave her evasive answers. She claimed in her complaint that Bheemrao Baba had harassed her. The lawsuit claimed that her concerns to Srinivas were unanswered.

Bheemrao Baba was arrested by the police after Malleshwari’s accusation. The location of the grave was made public during his questioning.

The tahsildar watched as the police excavated Rishi’s bones on Thursday and took them to the forensics lab.

Cases against Bheemrao Baba and Srinivas have been filed under many sections of the IPC, including 420 (cheating), 354-D (stalking), 304-II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), and 201 (causing loss of evidence), according to Rebenna Circle Inspector N Chitti Babu.
