Telangana: The principal of the school is upset with the pupils’ deeksha dress, and parents are furious

The Mother Theresa High School in Kannepally village, Dandepalli mandal, was reportedly vandalized on Thursday by a group of Hanuman deeksha supporters who claimed that the school administration had asked a student to remove his deeksha costume.

A complaint has been registered against the school principal and correspondent under IPC Sections 153 A and 295 for intentionally offending religious emotions, according to Dhandapelli Mandal Sub Inspector N Swaroop. The MEO also claimed that the administration of the school interfered with the pupils’ religious rituals and sent them a show-cause letter requesting an answer within a day.

The incident started when a youngster was apparently given a school uniform by the principal, who then instructed him to change. A few pupils were wearing deeksha clothing, which the administrator found objectionable, and she forbade them from entering the classes.

The gang of Hanuman enthusiasts marched to the school after one of the children went home and complained to his parents. The demonstrators said that by making pupils take off their deeksha clothes, the school had violated their religious practice and requested that the authorization be revoked.
