Terrorist hideaway discovered in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir; evidence found

Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir saw the raid of a terrorist hideaway on Saturday, which resulted in the confiscation of some evidence, according to the police.

According to a police spokeswoman, the hideaway was discovered during a search and cordon operation that was initiated in response to credible reports regarding its existence in the Dalas Barneli region of the Arnas sub division.

According to him, the hideaway yielded two detonators, twelve rounds of AK assault rifle, one each of an IED-enabled tape recorder and calculator, one battery, and a few connecting cables.

Mohita Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police in Reasi, said that further information is being expected and that the search is currently ongoing in the region.

She said that the police are determined to foil any evil plans by anti-national groups.
