The Congress selects their nominees for the last three Lok Sabha seats

The son of former MP and senior politician Ramasahayam Surender Reddy, Raghuma Reddy, and Velichala Rajender Rao, a former MLA from Karimnagar, the son of former MLA Velichala Jagapathi Rao, would allegedly represent the Congress in the Khammam Lok Sabha constituency. According to AICC sources, the party has also decided to field Sameer Waliullah as its candidate for the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency.

 

On Friday, a formal statement is anticipated. It should be noted that Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy was vying for the ticket for his brother Prasad Reddy, while Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was promoting his wife Mallu Nandini. The sources said that the party’s decision was made in light of many polls.

They added that the party took into account a number of issues, including caste, before selecting Rajender Rao for Karimnagar. Algireddy Praveen Reddy, a former MLA, had previously been promised a seat by the party.
