The Dwarka Expressway’s Haryana segment is anticipated to open later this month

Later this month, PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to dedicate the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway after his inauguration of the metro extension project.

The inauguration is scheduled for the last week of February or the first week of March, according to NHAI officials.

According to Ministry of Transport sources, the Transport Ministry wanted it completed simultaneously with a portion of the Dwarka Expressway that would connect Delhi and AIIMS-Rewari, which is scheduled for completion later this month. The Haryana government, on the other hand, wanted it completed with the Gurugram Metro and AIIMS-Rewari.

“We are waiting for the completion of the Delhi portion of the expressway, whose tunnel is expected to be finished by the end of this month, even though the Haryana part is ready. Together, we want to start the stretch. As of this present, we anticipate the PM visiting and launching this section with a road show,” the Transport Ministry officials said.

The Dwarka Expressway is a long-standing request of the Gurugram community, much as the AIIMS and Metro. It will be dedicated to the public by PM Modi. Though the exact date of the opening is unknown, it is anticipated to occur later this month, according to Union Minister of State and MP for Gurugram Rao Inderjit Singh.

DC The government was busy finishing touches to the stretch, such as putting lighting, tiles, and thermoplastic road markings, thus Nishant Kumar Yadav could not confirm the date of inauguration. Within fifteen days, it is anticipated to be finished.

There are 29 kilometers in the Dwarka Expressway, 18.9 of which are in Haryana and the rest 10.1 in Delhi. It starts on National Highway 8 at Shiv-Murti and continues to the Kherki Daula toll plaza.

Currently scheduled to connect Dwarka Sector 21 to NH-8, the project is anticipated to cost over Rs 10,000 crore in total. It would pass past Gurugram Sectors 88, 84, 83, and 99-113, including the proposed Global City, before arriving at NH-8 right before the Kherki Daula toll plaza.
