The PM visits his constituency; Kashi is seen as an example of heritage and progress

Speaking during the Sansad Sanskrit Competition award ceremony held at Kashi Hindu University’s (BHU) Swatantrata Bhawan Samagar, the Prime Minister said that Sanskrit is India’s primary source of unity among variety.

PM Modi expressed gratitude to Kashi Vidvat Parishad, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, and all of the academics for this occasion. As MP of Kashi, he claimed that they had all been instrumental in fulfilling his objective.

“Every novel concept and scientific advancement that India has contributed to the globe has some connection to one of the nation’s cultural hubs. In addition to being the home of Shiva, Kashi is also the location of the Buddha’s teachings. The Jain Tirthankaras came from Kashi, where Adi Shankaracharya also gained knowledge. People go to Kashi from all over the globe in quest of wisdom and tranquility. People have been traveling to Kashi from every area, dialect, language, and habit. New ideas emerge in environments with a high degree of variety. “Progress is possible where new ideas flourish,” he said.

During the Vishwanath Dham’s opening, the Prime Minister said that the Dham will provide India with a clear path forward and steer the nation toward prosperity. This is apparent right now. With its magnificent comeback on the national stage, Vishwanath Dham is poised to lead India into a momentous future. Scholars from throughout the nation are holding seminars at Vishwanath Dham. The Shastrartha tradition is being revived by the temple trust. The countrywide interchange of ideas among academics is growing as a result of this, he said.

Modi remarked that Kashi’s academic council and experts were doing fresh study for contemporary science. “The Temple Trust will soon set up free meals at several locations across the city. The temple will guarantee that there is never hunger in Mother Annapurna’s city.

“Nai Kashi,” which has become an inspiration for the new India, demonstrates how religious centers may become hubs of activity for social and national issues. The young people leaving here will go on to represent Indian wisdom, customs, and culture over the globe. “This land of Baba Vishwanath is turning into a witness to the global welfare resolution,” he said.
