The third round of registration for NEET PG Counselling 2023 closes today; how to apply

Today, September 25, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will wrap up the NEET PG 2023 round 3 counseling registration procedure. Today at 11:59 PM, the choice-filling and choice-locking time will likewise come to an end. At mcc.nic.in, interested and qualified applicants may finish the registration procedure and pay the required fees. Candidates who have already registered do not need to do so again. They will have the option to change their selections, however.

According to the MCC’s official timetable, seat allocation procedures will take place on September 26 and 27, and the outcome of round 3 seat allocation will be disclosed on September 28. Those who are named to the merit list must report to their designated universities between September 29 and October 6.

Round 3 of NEET PG Counseling in 2023: How to Register

First, visit mcc.nic.in

Step 2: Go to this website’s main page and choose the NEET PG 2023 Counseling Round 3 Registration link.

Step 3: Enter the necessary information and click “Login.”

The choice-filling window will appear in Step 4.

Step 5: Select “Submit” after filling out the selections.

Step 6: Download and save a physical copy of the confirmation page in case you need it later.

The MCC will begin the round to fill any remaining seats after round 3 seat allocation on October 9, and it will go until October 11. The seat allocation outcome will be made public on October 14. Students have from October 15 to October 20 to report to the designated colleges. The stray vacancy round is open to applicants who have not yet filled a seat in any of the other rounds of counseling or via state quota counseling.

Doctors requested that the qualifying percentile for the NEET PG 2023 exam be lowered, and the health ministry lowered it to “zero.” Making ensuring that no PG medical seat remains empty has been decided.In India, there are over 70,000 PG medical seats available. Each year, 2,000–2500 of these seats are left empty.

The cut-off for the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test for Postgraduate Studies (NEET PG) has historically been set at 50% for students in the general/unreserved category, 45% for students with disabilities (PwD), and 40% for students in other reserved categories.
