39 people were hurt when a bus carrying BJP workers collided with a truck in Khargone
39 people were injured when a truck was struck by attackers transporting BJP members in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district. Near Kasrawad, the accident happened late on Sunday night. The wounded were sent urgently to a local hospital.
The travelers were their route to Bhopal, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to speak to a large gathering of party members today at the “Karyakarta Mahakumbh.”
On the bus were mostly BJP activists from Khaparjamli, Rupgarh, and Rai Sagar of Bhagwanpura.
To officially wrap off its five ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatras’ that were held across the state, the BJP organized the ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ on the anniversary of Jana Sangh co-founder Deendayal Upadhyaya.
