The AIIMS-Delhi fire has not claimed any lives

Delhi, New: This morning, authorities claimed, there was a fire at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi.

According to reports, there were no casualties from the hospital’s second-story fire.

At 5:59 in the morning, a call was made, and seven fire crews hurried to the scene. According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the fire was contained by 6.20 am.

“The incident resulted in no injuries,” a DFS representative said.

According to a statement from AIIMS, a refrigerator short circuit was the source of the incident.

The hospital said that at around 5:25 a.m., they got reports of a fire in the second-floor Reproductive Biology Department room 2090.

The statement said, “After confirmation of a short circuit in a fridge, security and the fire control room were notified, and the fire fighting team was alerted.” It also stated that the Delhi Fire Services were notified.

“AIIMS fire services put out the fire right away, and Delhi Fire Services personnel also showed there. It said that no casualties or property damage had been recorded.
