“This is something the Prime Minister will never tell you,” Jairam Ramesh said of the Center

NEW DELHI: Congressman Jairam Ramesh attacked the national administration, which is run by the Bharatiya Janata Party, on Tuesday. He said that the Prime Minister would never inform you that there are now 21 billionaires who together own more money than there are 70 crore Indians.
Jairam wrote on X, saying that from 2012 to 2021, over 40% of the nation’s wealth was concentrated in the hands of 1% of the people.

The majority of public resources and assets have been sold to one or two corporations during the last ten years; analysts have noted that inflation is a result of the economy’s rising monopolies. The combined fortune of 21 billionaires now exceeds that of 70 crore Indians, according to Jairam.

The Congress leader went on to say that India needs more sustainable environmental development, far more inclusive economic growth, and quick economic growth.
Emphasizing, “Only INDIA can and will do all three,”

Abhishek Manu Singhvi, a prominent Congress leader and advocate, stated that the party has asked the Election Commission of India to take “appropriate action” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi “irrespective of the status of the person” in response to the PM’s recent speech in Banswara, Rajasthan.
The Prime Minister’s comments was deemed seriously, absurdly inappropriate’ by Singhvi.

PM Modi earlier on April 21 launched a vicious assault on the Congress party, claiming that the party aims to seize people’s money and property and divide it among “those having more children.”
The Prime Minister used previous Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s statement that the minority group had the first claim to the nation’s resources when he claimed during his address in Banswara, Rajasthan, that if the Congress were to win power, it would transfer money to Muslims. In addition, Modi said that the Congress intended to distribute people’s precious assets and hard-earned cash to “those who have more children” and “infiltrators”.
