Three ladies stole ₹3.4 lakh worth of gold chains

Nashik: On Saturday and Sunday, three ladies in the Adgaon and Indiranagar regions had their gold chains stolen. The chains were valued at a total of about Rs 3.4 lakh.

“A woman (51) from Pune was outside a wedding hall on the Sambhajinagar highway in the city on Sunday afternoon,” the Adgaon police stated. At that point, two unknown individuals on a motorbike approached and stole her gold chain, which was valued at Rs 1.98 lakh.

While Shobha Khode (50) of Savarkarnagar was making her way from the Bali Temple to the Siddhivinayak Chowk, two individuals on a motorbike approached her and stole her gold necklace, which was valued at Rs 90,000.

In a another incident, thieves stole a Rs 54,000 gold chain belonging to an 80-year-old lady who was strolling through an Indiranagar slum on Saturday.
