Two people detained in a stolen vehicle

Two citizens of Delhi were detained by the Gurugram police on suspicion of robbing a resident of Najafgarh of a vehicle at gunpoint close to Bajghera village.

The incident happened late on Monday night in Sector 109, close to Sobha City Society, according to the police.

A citizen of Najafgarh said that two young people on bikes approached him and took him captive, demanding money. They stole his vehicle and robbed him of cash.

In response to the complaint, a police report was filed at the Bajghera police station on Monday. Late yesterday night, the police squad apprehended the two accused individuals from Chhawla in Delhi and retrieved the stolen automobile from their custody.

The accused who were taken into custody, according to the police, are Ishan (18) of Kanganheri village, also known as Manager, also known as Mota, and Dev (18) of Chhawla in Delhi.

“The accused admitted to the police that they are both drug addicts and that they intended to carry out the heist in order to get easy money. Additional investigation is underway, according to ACP crime analyst Varun Dahiya.
